A range of experiments using Photoshop techniques to express the racial, gender and prejudice struggles women faced within social history and Jazz.
Experiments will be used for an exhibition I am creating exploring how Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Mary Lou Williams challenged traditional gender roles in their careers and achieved social and economic success with their jazz music.
